Liberty and Access for All (L+A) would like to congratulate the following presidential nominees:

  • Governor Nikki Haley for being named as the next US ambassador to the United Nations.  Haley currently serves as the current Governor of South Carolina
  • Former Secretary Elaine Chao for being selected to serve as Secretary of Transportation . Chao served as  Labor secretary under President George W. Bush

It is important that President-elect Donald Trump recognize the diversity of the country as he continues to make appointments. L+A founder and President Maram Abdelhamid released the following statement:  “While we are pleased with these nominations , there is still much work to be done by the incoming President and Congress.  A report by the NBC 4 I-Team earlier this month (http://www.nbcwashington.com/investigations/Congress-Not-Following-Its-Own-Rules-on-Diversity-400329281.html showed that Congress still has a lot of work to do to increase diversity, nclusion and retention in the work place.”  Abdelhamid further stated that, “Liberty and Access for All is committed to making sure that the Trump Administration and Congress bring in a more diverse work force. Even though this election was divisive, the American people and politicians need to come together and embrace diversity.”Abdelhamid concluded by saying, “Liberty and Access for All believes in an America in which every person – regardless of race, religion, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation, or gender identity, has a place at the leadership table.”
